Apparently North America is not the only place dealing with an Anglican schism. From Africa-
THE Anglican Province of Zimbabwe yesterday ordained 33 bishops and deacons to serve in its dioceses. The province is made up of dioceses that broke from the Church of the Province of Central Africa early this year following disagreements over homosexuality.Of those ordained, 23 were serving deacons with the remainder being new office-bearers.Archbishop Nolbert Kunonga said the deacons and bishops should truthfully serve the province and not tolerate homosexuality within the church."This is confirmation that we are going ahead with the building of the new province after breaking away from the Province of Central Africa.http://www.herald.co.zw/inside.aspx?sectid=1652&cat=1

Nolbert Konunga is a thug. He is rightly described as a Zanu-PF bishop. He personally benefitted from farm land taken by the regime.
The split in the Anglican Church in Zimbabwe has much more to do with Zimbabwe's internal politics than with wider disputes in the Anglican Communion.
The emphasis on homosexuality is no more than a way to defame the Anglican Church in Zimbabwe led by Bishop Bakare. It is a tactic he has used in the rest of Province of Central Africa. And, so far as I can see from the UK, it's generally ignored.
