Happy (519th) Birthday to Thomas Cranmer


The great English reformer and father of the Book of Common Prayer was born on July 2, 1489. He ministered imperfectly (as we all do) in a time of great moral ambiguity. His desire was to see the Church reformed and led to his martyrdom in 1556.
