From Baltimore (interesting statistics in this one)-
North Baltimore's Episcopal Church of Nativity and Lutheran Church of the Holy Comforter merged because neither congregation could sustain operations on their own due to declining attendance.
"We're still adjusting to the changes in our culture, and so the church is not what it used to be, and culture is not what it used to be," said the Rev. Stewart Lucas, rector at Churches of Nativity and Holy Comforter.
