From Pittsburgh (with video)-
Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season and this year,
church leaders will be offering parishioners to mark the start of Lent
wherever they are.
Rather than have to attend a traditional church service, members of
the church will be going to public places, public transit stops,
airports, and a military base to offer ashes to those that are unable or
prefer not to attend church.
Church leaders will be at 14 different areas throughout Pittsburgh between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
