From South Carolina-One side says it’s the Episcopal Church that has launched an attack and betrayed the “doctrine, discipline and worship” of orthodox Anglicanism. The other side says it’s a renegade and secessionist diocesan leadership that’s rebelling against an inclusive church. Both call themselves “the Diocese of South Carolina.” At stake is millions of dollars in property assets and a community of believers. The Post and Courier presents two points of view, each questioning the motives of the other.
