Father Alberto Cutie Isn't the First to Change Religions


Last Thursday, TV personality, beach canoodler, and sometime Catholic priest Alberto Cutié joined the Episcopal Church. His official reason: He had "searched [his] soul and sought God's guidance."

Of course, the fact that Episcopalian priests are allowed to marry (and, we assume, canoodle) had absolutely nothing to do with his decision, you blasphemer.

But let's say it did. Cutié would not be the first public figure to demand a holy trade in order to get his righteous grind on. Behold, our Holy Trinity of denominational journeymen:

Jim - at a clergy conf. lately (Dio. Bethelehem), I sat at a table of 8 clergy, and I was the only one who wasn't formerly RC - and I know of 3 others here. But, that was a good article - thanks!
