From Scotland-
Parishioner Margaret Graham (78) launched the legal bid against the St Adamnan Episcopal Church in Kilmaveonaig, near Blair Atholl, claiming she'd been injured as a result. The case, which had been due to be heard at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, did not call after the parties came to an agreement. No details of the settlement were made available by the court, and when asked by The Courier, Mrs Graham declined to comment. In her action she claimed she caught her left foot on the doormat as she was preparing flower arrangements for a Sunday service in 2007.After throwing cuttings on to a compost heap, she was making her way back into the church through the front door when, she alleged, she tripped on the DIY piece of flooring.More here-
