Sometimes it takes more than one attempt to get it perfect, an idea the Rev. Jon Hullinger of Trinity Episcopal Church in Atchison, Kansas, knows firsthand.
“My path to here has been kind of a long, winding journey,” the Rev. Hullinger says.
After following a path through several religions and churches in Kansas, the Rev. Hullinger recently began as a priest-in-charge at Trinity Episcopal Church, where he eventually hopes to become a rector. After spending years studying philosophy and other religions, he is finally comfortable in what he calls “the middle of the road,” the Rev. Hullinger says.
